When we are trying to reduce the amount of sugar we are consuming, it can be hard to find a quick snack that satisfies. Ruth’s simple, no-bake Sugar-Free Almond and Cinnamon protein balls are packed full of protein and taste delicious. Cinnamon is packed with antifungal properties too so if you are struggling with an overgrowth of Candida caused by too much sugar in your diet, these could be a resource to your body.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of unsweetened almond butter
  • ½ cup coconut flour
  • ¼ cup chopped almonds
  • ¼ cup unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 Tsp. ground cinnamon (or more, depending on preference)
  • 4 Tbsp. Coconut oil
  • 4 Tbsp. Coconut milk (from a can)
  • 1 serving packet of stevia (optional)

Directions:

Step 1: Place all the ingredients except the shredded coconut into a food processor and blend.

Step 2: Once your mixture is blended use your hands to create bitesize balls. In a separate bowl have your shredded coconut and roll the ball around to coat the outside.

Step 3: Place each rolled ball on greaseproof paper and put in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.

Yours in health,

Ruth
