Cannabinoids are naturally occurring compounds that interact with our body's endocannabinoid system. Cannabinoids found in hemp are derived from the aerial parts of the plant. The cannabinoid called cannabidiol (CBD) appears to offer many medicinal and therapeutic benefits. Beta-Caryophyllene or BCP is the main active cannabinoid in CBA. BCP is a selective binding agent to the CB2 receptor benefiting the body with medicinal and therapeutic benefits.

Both are made from the same plant, but hemp oil is cold-pressed from hemp seeds. It contains only trace amounts of CBD, and therefore can not deliver the potency and full benefits of CBD oil. CBD oil or hemp extract oil is made from the entire hemp plant including the seeds, leaves, and stem and contains rich amounts of CBD and other beneficial cannabinoids.
